The “en” in “en retreat” comes from the Japanese word “goen”, which describes a fateful encounter.
This retreat is a program designed to enlighten your spirituality through the beauty of Japan with others who have come together in a once-in-a-lifetime and preciously fateful encounter (goen) through a shrine visit, private yoga session, and a traditional Japanese lunch in a historical home.
If you want to experience Japanese culture and beauty, please feel free to get in touch with us.
Instructors who have lived overseas will guide your private yoga session in English. It’s held in a private studio surrounded by nature.
With lush nature all around, you can also listen to crystal bowl music while practicing yoga to achieve a deep relaxation for both the body and mind.
You will visit Makata Shrine, a hidden gem of Narita City, Chiba Prefecture.
You will enjoy a healthy washoku (traditional Japanese) lunch at a popular local cafe inside a historical home, and savor dishes of easy-to-digest sprouted brown rice and fresh Japanese vegetables.
